Course Objectives: 
The main objective of the course is to provide the students the necessary skills to develop and carry out a project for the design of a food product and/or process under realistic constraints and conditions (such as quality, sustainability, health, safety, ethics, economic constraints, manufacturability) by applying the knowledge and skills accrued during their education, aimed at creating solutions to current food engineering problems. A secondary objective is to develop their communication skills to enable them to report and present their findings effectively.
Course Content: 

Under the supervision of the course instructor the students develop and carry out a food engineering design project including product and/or process design, report and present its findings.
