He completed his master's degree in 2012 and Ph.D. studies in 2023 in Istanbul Technical University Graduate School Structural Engineering Program. He also worked as a research assistant at Yıldız Technical University and Istanbul Beykent University. His research fields include nonlinear analysis, earthquake engineering, performance-based design, prefabricated structures, numerical and experimental modelling. He has published national and international articles and conference papers in these fields. Additionally, he had studied in European Union Project “SAFECLADDING (FP7)- Improved Fastening Systems of Cladding Wall Panels of Precast Buildings in Seismic Zones" and TUBITAK 1505 Project “Development of Replaceable Mechanical Plastic Hinge for Moment-Resisting Precast Beam-Column Connections”.
