Course Objectives:

This course is aims to enable students to develop supply chain engineering concepts, strategies and techniques and acquire the necessary technological and theoretical foundation.

Course Content:

Introduction to supply chains. Flexible models in aggregate planning, optimization and heuristics. Continuous and periodic review models, optimizing inventory model parameters, simulation. Distribution resource planning, lot sizing techniques, Material requirements planning. Supply chain network design, supplier selection models, ERP software.

Course Methodology:

1: Lecture by instructor, 2: Lecture by instructor with class discussion, 3: Problem solving by instructor, 4: Laboratory work
