Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to acquire the ability to carry out a systematic investigation of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Applications and International Construction Contracts for infrastructure projects, gaining a historical and methodological point of view, to describe basic concepts of international project finance, analysis of recent cases in Turkey and in the world and gaining a multi-faceted assessment capability so as to consider complex dynamics of the globalization as well as that of international
relations.
Course Content:
Contract and financing models of the infrastructure projects within the context of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Applications; contracts for international projects; international trade, economic and investment relations, sectorial collaboration opportunities and joint investments; basic concepts of project finance; international project finance; regional and global political and economic events; relations between the states and between the international organizations.
