Course Objectives: 
The goal of this course is to provide students with information about the need of energy, conventional and renewable energy systems with their environmental impacts extending to the use of energy in buildings in forms of heating and ventilation and present the fundamentals of energy efficient design and related classification.
Course Content: 

Physical definition of energy, chronological growth of individual energy consumption, sustainability in energy, climate change, conventional energy sources, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency in buildings, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and energy saving, related criteria, energy efficient design and classification.
