Course Objectives:

To give basic knowledge and understanding about the durability of concrete structures: basic mechanism for different exposure conditions, causes, damages and prevention methods.

Course Content:

Introduction; Review on Hardened Cement Paste; Permeability; Freeze-Thaw Attack; Sulfate Attack; Corrosion of Steel in Concrete.
