Course Objectives: 
The goal of this course is to give information to students on infrastructure planning and management with regard to the recent and local/global challenges.
Course Content: 

Introduction. Infrastructure management approaches: maintenance, rehabilitation and renovation. Water, wastewater and storm water systems. Land transportation systems. Energy systems. Telecommunication systems. Risk management and disaster preparedness. Infrastructure sectors and investments. Financing infrastructure. Infrastructure protection and security. Challenges for urban infrastructure management and technical infrastructure problems in developing countries. Metropolitan municipalities. Case studies from different metropolitans in the World.

Course Methodology:
