Course Objectives:

Course objective is to transfer all information on management of different environmental activities, environmental impact assessment methodologies which is resulted by decision making, environmental management systematic and methods for remediation and their relations with already laws on the World.

Course Content:

Basic concepts in environmental science, definition on pollution, categorization of environmental activities, process survey, waste survey, pollution profile, data collection, environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental management system (EMS), waste management, source management, risk management, discharge and treatment standards, legal aspects and enforcements, legal framework in Turkey and EU, case studies and special topics.

Course Methodology:

1: Lecture by instructor, 8: Term research paper
