Course Objectives: 
Materials laboratory course aims to provide students with basic knowledge and laboratory experience on metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers and composites. The Materials Laboratory course, which is an applied course, is aimed at demonstrating the practical validity of the theoretical knowledge that students learned during the courses they took during their undergraduate education.
Course Content: 

General laboratory safety guidelines, error analysis and basic statistics, mechanical testing of materials, pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical production techniques of metals, quantitative analysis of metals, fundamentals of materialographic examination.
