Course Objectives: 
To develop the ability to follow the new developments in food science and technology and their current and potential applications in the food industry, and to assess the impact of these applications on food system outcomes such as health, sustainability, food safety and quality.

Developments, trends and current topics in food processing, food chemistry, food safety, food biotechnology, food packaging and product development.
