Course Objectives: 
To introduce the concept of digitalization/digital innovation/digital transformation and new digital technologies such as blockchain, internet of things (IOT), artificial intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality; To provide the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to analyze, follow and participate in the digital transformation of the food system with a focus on food safety, sustainability, health and food innovation.
Course Content: 

Digitalization/digital innovation/digital transformation. Application of new digital technologies such as blockchain, internet of things (IOT), artificial intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality in the food system particularly in the areas of food traceability, food supply chain optimization, quality control, product development, nutirition, and gastronomy with guest lectures from academicians and industry
