This project addresses efficient implementation of embedded systems applications. We propose an efficient implementation through customization tailored to the application and by mapping the implementation on to FPGAs, which are reconfigurable chips. Besides, we have contributions targeted to real-time applications. These contributions are a heart-beat (some sort of super-loop) based methodology for input software and a compiler module that determines if such software meets real-time performance goals.
