Aim: The processor architecture proposed in this project provides solutions to save energy by sacrificing a minimum amount of performance of running applications. To achieve this, the design of a mechanism, which enables transitions between in-order and out-of-order mode of execution while realizing a full-scale (from processor-width to the sizes of datapath resources, from the size of cache to the amount of arithmetic-logic units) automatic processor scaling according to the resource needs of running applications, and verification of it by realization it in a simulation environment is planned within the project.
