Our Department, founded in 2008, Yeditepe University Department of Civil Engineering has graduated four civil engineers in 2012 for the first time. As a consequence of increasing number of students during following years, a total of 226 graduates have been achieved. Some of the graduates are continuing into higher education whereas the majority is working in the business as civil engineers. Regarding higher education, abroad studies contain countries such as United Kingdom, United States of America and Italy, whereas national universities such as Istanbul Technical University, Boğaziçi University and Yıldız Technical University are also preferred. Graduates in the business are employed in a vast variety of civil engineering works in Turkey, some are also working abroad in different countries such as United States of America, Russia, Italy, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Some of our graduates continue their family corporation in civil engineering, and some also have founded their own companies.
