Course Objectives: 
The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to find unknown process variables by using material and energy balances on chemical processes.
Course Content: 

Material balances on steady-state multi-unit processes involving bypass, recycle and purge. Chemical reaction stoichiometry and material balances on reactive processes. Calculations with ideal gas assumption. Single component phase equilibrium and gas-liquid systems with one condensable component. Energy and energy balances on nonreactive and reactive processes at steady state. Problems
