Course Objectives:

To give a deep understanding of the fundamentals of biological materials, biomaterials, theoretical background, and in manufacturing of biomaterials as ceramics, glasses, metals, polymers, and composites. Applications in various areas such as dentistry and in medical areas.

Course Content:

Biological materials, biomaterials, or implants from metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers, and composites. The course will also present biomaterials application in dentistry, orthopedy, cardiovascular system, hearing so on.
