Course Objectives:

To give deep understanding about the surfaces of metallic, ceramics and polymeric materials.

Course Content:

Wear Princibles, Corrosion princibles, The Concept of Coating, Electroless and Electrolytic Plating, Galvanizing, Spray Coatings, Intoduction to heat treatment, thermo-chemical heat treatments, Surface characterization techniques
