Course Objectives:

This course is designed to help the students understand the concepts and importance of biochemistry and the fundamental biochemical processes behind living processes.

Course Content:

An introduction to the basics of biochemistry, and the molecular architecture of living matter. The prime focus is on the structure and function of the macromolecules of life; proteins, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates.
