Communication Systems Laboratory

GENERAL INFORMATION

The main purpose of the Communication Systems Laboratory is to analyze the fundamentals of analog and digital communication applications. Laboratory sections of Communication Systems course is given in this laboratory.

The laboratory has kits comprising a main case containing function generating blocks, and special purpose plug-in modules that can be attached to these cases. There are 42 different types of modules performing various communication system functions. These modules can be easily added to or removed from the arrangement as required by each experiment. The oscilloscopes used in the laboratory have
FFT functions, providing visualizations of the signals in both time and frequency domains. Besides regular course work, students are also allowed to use the laboratory for their projects.
