Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the industrial applications of chemical engineering principles, basically in process design and execution of process plant projects.

Course Content:

Process plant project management; engineering standards;capital and manufacturing costs of process; utilities; profitability analysis; professional and ethical responsibility; reactor design and simulations; separation systems and simulations; a term project on a process performed by teams of students.
