Established in 1996 with the foundation of our university, the Faculty of Engineering offers education in Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Genetics and Bioengineering, Food Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
In all departments of our faculty, basic sciences and basic engineering courses are taught predominantly in the first and second grades, while branch courses are emphasized in the upper grades. In all programs, specialization and social sciences courses are also included depending on the student's desire for education, ability and personal development. In addition, students who show academic success can benefit from "minor" and "double major" programs.
Our faculty carries out its education with the approach that university education is more than a vocational education, it is to train graduates who have a command of basic knowledge, who are constantly learning, questioning and producing. For this purpose, education is carried out by applying modern and flexible programs, extensive computer laboratories are used, and academic advisors are assigned for each student. In addition to the vocational education, each student can take courses such as History of Civilization, Management, Law and Economics and similar courses. In addition, students can take additional foreign language courses such as German, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc.
Inter-university relations necessary for students who show academic success to carry out a semester of their education in foreign countries are carried out effectively in cooperation with the International Office of our university and the relevant departments.
The language of instruction at the Faculty of Engineering is English. Students who are not proficient in English first attend the English Preparatory Program. In our faculty, scholarships are given to approximately 80 percent of the students who take the central selection exam every year. Thus, qualified students with financial difficulties are provided with financial support and are allowed to study in their fields of interest.
