The Department of Computer Engineering at Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey, invites applications for 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall. The candidates are expected to be ranked as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The department is particularly interested in candidates with the expertise in the fields of Computer Science including, but not limited to, Software Engineering, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Theoretical Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Human-Computer Interaction.
The applicants are expected to have PhDs in Computer Science/Engineering degree from the top universities in Turkey or any other well-known universities abroad. Any candidate who have gained their PhDs recently may be given priority for consideration. Each applicant is expected to have excellent research background and published papers at well-known journals and conferences. The applicants must also show great potential to perform active researches in their field when joining the department, including the regular paper submissions to well-known journals and conferences and writing project proposals for national and international funding agencies. Last but not least, each applicant must show their interest towards teaching at undergraduate and graduate level and opening new technical courses and supervising students at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels in their own research expertise.
