DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING 2021 FALL SEMESTER ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Computer Engineering Students,

Teaching for the 2021 Fall Semester is based on the reduction of normal classroom capacities under pandemic conditions and conducting hybrid (face-to-face and online) meetings within the scope of University-wide decisions. In addition, it is stated that updates can be made in the format according to the developments regarding the pandemic.

It is planned that students will come to the campus alternately for the theoretical sessions. Students whose student number ends with an odd digit will come to the campus and take face-to-face classes in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, ... weeks, and students whose student number ends with an even digit will do the same in the 2nd, 4th, 6th, ... weeks. Meanwhile, the rest of the class will simultaneously participate in distance education as we conducted the last term.

It is planned that applied courses (laboratory, application, project, workshop, student support education branches, etc.) will be given face-to-face. However, since there may be differences in the operation of labs in various courses, you will be able to learn the plan for each course through the syllabus prepared by the lecturer.

The exams are planned to be conducted face-to-face.

It is of great importance that you attend the courses you have registered or plan to enroll in from the first day. You can find out which week is determined as odd week and which week is even week by our department from the table below. For example, on the 23rd and 24th of the month, we will be waiting for our students whose student number ends with an odd digit on campus. Students whose student number ends with an even digit will also be able to attend classes online simultaneously from the YULEARN website.
