Mehmet Unal Gunes is graduated from Yeditepe University Genetics and Bioengineering department in 2009 and from Chemical Engineering department in 2010 (double major). Unal got his MSc degree in Bogazici University Chemical Engineering department in 2011 with his thesis on antibiotics ribosome interaction predictions through computational biology. He worked in BAP as researcher for 1 year in Bogazici University and for a summer in National Institute of Health (NIH/NCI) in USA before graduating from MSc. Unal started working in Ali Raif Pharmaceuticals in 2012 as researcher and after 2 years he joined Unilever as Technical Project Leader in Beverages department. He worked in various areas such as product development, process development and project management. Unal joined Unilever Food Solutions in Netherlands in 2019 and still working there as Assist. R&D Manager.
