The pomegranate-based leather alternative POMECO project won the First Prize in the 13th Future of Automotive Design Competition. Congratulations to Yugen Company and its founder Ms. İpek Tüysüzoğlu as well as our student and professor for their remarkable success in the competition.
Our Master's student Nida Çelebi took part in the project that started in 2022 as a partnership between Yugen Company and Yeditepe University and R&D studies continue under the supervision of Professor Nebahat Aral.
