Course Objectives:

Teaching fundamental concepts of engineering thermodynamics with applications in biological processes and improving the computing skills of the students. Group projects (3 or 4 students/group) will be prepared to evaluate a biological process from the thermodynamic point of view.

Learning fundamental principles of thermodynamics and applying them to evaluate the fundamental thermodynamic aspects of the biological systems
