Following her PhD she worked as Post-Doc Researcher at Boğaziçi University. She has been involved in various research projects both at national and international level. (i.e: i. European Union (EU) Project MARSite: New Directions in Seismic Hazard Assessment through Focused Earth Observation in the Marmara Supersite ii. European Union (EU) Project EPOS-IP: Europan Plate Observing System Implementation Phase). Since July 2017, Dr. Saygılı works as an Assistant Professor at the Yeditepe University.
